hi hi. :D hmm, let's see if anything eventful happened. oh yes. i went shopping. well, not exactly shopping n that sense, but i followed my mom around to get things done.

so, i got up earlier than i would have preferred, and got ready. we went to vivo city first. my mom wanted to renew something. not quite sure what - but it did have something to do with our phones. anyway, my older brother and i managed to convince our mom to sign us up for caller ID, so now, we have it. :)

then, we stopped by suntec city to pick up my dad's birthday present. and then, i went to gym. hmm... my day seems so much shorter when i type it down... oh. well, it'll have to do.

oh yea, and i ran into hanna at vivo. so that's it. byee!

second post of the day. turns out, i did go out! :) with my family. we went to jurong point from 6pm - approximately 9pm. it was crowded! packed! and we actually thought that people would rather stay home to celebrate christmas.

we had dinner at banquet. i ate that fried fish in soup thing. umm, i don't actually know what it's called, but when i do, i'll let you know. the thing that i absolutely love about banquet, is that everything there is halal. which also means that i can eat anything there. :D i'm lovin' it. i wish every eating place is like that. school too. i absolutely hate the fact that there are only 2 malay stalls, and it's queue is constantly endless.

we walked round and round the place, trying to find my little brother's tie. he has this big performance tomorrow at the esplanade. i think he's playing for his school. oh, and for those of you who didn't know, my little bro plays the saxaphone. he has this completely black gettup and my mom wanted him to wear a white tie so that the colour contrast would look absolutely dazzling. in the end, we went to john little, and got him a maroon tie. we couldn't find a place that sold white ties, so we had to make do with maroon. (which wasn't half bad)

then, i went over to b.u.m equipment (my favourite clothing shop - due to the fact that i can find clothes in there that can actually fit me) and i spotted this nice, of-white 3/4 pants. it fit rather nicely, and the price didn't make my mouth hang open, so my mom got it for me. then, just as she was paying, i spotted a rack of white tops. and as i looked through, i saw a real nice, long, white top. first, i thought it was a top, on closer inspection i realised it was a dress. my mom saw it and she said "no". cos she said that i kept making fun of her fashion sense, so i was not deserving to buy a top that looked like the one i mocked. i literally had to beg my dad to let me try it on at the least to see how i actually look in it. and i didn't look half bad. it was a great cut and a great fit. i only managed to convince them of letting me buy it when my dad suggested that i use my own cash to pay for it. so now, i owe my mom $39. but that's ok. it's worth it. cos the dress really looks hot. like a baby doll. i simply cannot describe it in words. you'll have to see it for yourself. i plan to wear it for this saturday's SG party.

so, i think i've written enough for the day. oh! i almost forgot. i'm gonna change my phone soon. it might be this week, it might be early next year, when my plan ends. but either way, i'm changing it. hopefully, they have the pink W580i in stock wherever it is i'm going. but if they don't have that colour, i'm getting the W910i. ok, now i've written it all. bye. :)

IT'S CHRISTMAS!!! and, once again, i took advantage of the fact that i had no training today, and woke up at 12. that means that i have been sleeping in for 3 days in a row. :D

well, while everybody's having the time of their lives at christmas parties and getting a kick out of opening their presents, i'm here, stuck at home. and guess what? i'm DEAD BORED! big surprise huh? i really, REALLY wanna go out... out shopping, to the movies, anywhere! just out of this place. don't get me wrong, it's not like i hate home. in fact, my house rocks! but seriously, if you watch a movie way too many times, you'd get bored too. so, same goes for being stuck at home.

let's see, nothing eventful has really happened, so, nothing much to blog about. but i did just come down from my parent's room. i was watching i want a famous face on MTV. and boy, is it gross! i mean, ok, so what if you're not satisfied with your face? truth stands, nobody is perfect. so live with it! ok, so some people go for plastic surgery to straighten that out. but what i don't understand is how some of them actually want to go for reconstructive surgery cos the actual plastic surgery didn't turn out the way they wanted it to. so they went through ALL that pain and agony, and they come out of it saying "now it looks WORSE than it did before" omg...and some of those people already look good, even better than some of the stars. and just because they want a "famous face" they destroy their natural looks and bone structures just to look like some star. i look like rihanna. big whoop! what do they get out of looking like a star? better jobs? i don't think so.

maybe, if they turn out looking like a complete angel, they might get jobs like models. ok 1stly, the odds are seriously against them. and 2ndly, that's the ONLY job you would ever be cut out to be. (pun not intended) unless of course, people hire their workers based on how they look. but that would be totally unfair and discriminating!

ok, i feel like i'm writing a philosophy essay on why we should be satisfied with how we look. i should stop blurting on and on about the evils of plastic surgery right about now.

anyway, congrats to sarah! on making the top 10 sports idol! :D umm. i have got absolutely nothing to blab on about so, i guess i might blog again later, when something interesting comes up. bye :)

hello there. it's christmas eve and though i don't celebrate christmas, i'd like to wish all you people out there, a very merry christmas!

i woke up at 12 today! i woke to the sound of something tinkling. at first, i thought it was my dream, then i realised how weird it was because nothing in my dream had anything to do with bells. so i opened my eyes, and my dad was actually shaking my choker (the ones the twins gave us for christmas. the one that says "gymnast") directly above me. believe me, that woke me up. and it also gave me the fright of my life. so i got up, took a shower and went down for lunch.

then, my dad made a hurried decision of going to IMM and picking out my laptop casing and mouse. oh yea, i forgot to mention that due to the fact that we won the team gold, my dad bought me a pink, sony VAIO. pretty cool huh?

well, either ways, we got there and it was packed. so my dad dropped me and my mom off and we went on ahead. so anyways, i picked out this pink one that could actually fit my 14"1' vaio. i would've gone for this other nice casing, but it was a few inches short. also, i picked out this pink mouse (both pink to match my laptop) with a floral design, and diamonte studs embedded in the middle. and it was then that i realised just how much sony accesories cost! i mean $89 for a mouse and $99 for a casing. - complete rip-off. whereas my mouse and casing costs about $29 each.

gym today was GREAT. we started at 2.30. not training, no. but we started playing at 2.30 and ended at 4.30 which meant 2 whole hours, dedicated to playing fun-filled games. we played the number game, poison ball, faeries and mushrooms, ant hospital, leap frog, hide and seek, wrestling game, beam wrestling and many many others that i just can't seem to remember at the moment.

we had a 1/2 hour of strength training and we were done! we spent like 10 minutes helping my coach figure out how to use his new phone. nokia phone by the way.

oh and thanks you guys, for all the christmas presents. and btw, rachel just got the xpress music phone, which is super cool. as for me, i'm planning on getting the W580i. they have it in metallic pink, and i want it. anyways, i've gotta go. ella enchanted'll be starting in a few minutes. see ya. cao! and have a very merry christmas. :) enjoy

take a walk down the road, you find teens hand in hand
looking at this scene, you find it's deja vu all over again
but 1 thing has changed, i barely get to see your face,
it's all part of my past, and i know it's never gonna last

*
they say time heals, more than reason can
i understand it, and we both know it is a fact
they say love is blind, and lovers cannot see
take a look at us now, we're apart and still happy, yea

#2
take a look at the sky, you see the stars don't really shine.
nobody had the right to say, that we're both 2 of a kind
yet nobody's to blame. i never will forget that name
you're still part of my past, and i know it's never gonna last!

it's never the same, never the same for you
you said you would change, but you never stayed true
to ur words and you promised that you would try
it's too late, cos i see, the real you inside

*
cos i don't care, won't give a damn about you
it's not what you did, more of what you do
i'm sick of excuses, no lies or amuses,
stop trying to kid me,
this is reality

#2
i never realised exactly what you do,
you think that i'll miss you but if only you knew,
bout the truth that i know about all your lies,
read my lips, you'll get what i'm tryinta imply

10 months and a half has passed
and it's gonna mark another year.
we're closing in november now,
and i'm glad that ur still here

cos no matter what, you stood by me,
through my ups and downs
friends like you don't come easily,
though we had our turnarounds

so i'm glad to say that ur my best friend,
so stick by me right through the end.

*
cos i can't think of some
one who could replace you
and you're the one that
i can hold on to

why'd you go and change the way you wear ur hair?
it's like you don't know me,
or just you didn't care

and why'd you go and change the way you talk?
some people walk the rock,
but all i see is that you talk the talk

*
nobody said it would be easy
you barely even know me
no one said it was a breeze,
now you say it's me and you,
changes, yea, they're just so ooo-oooh

#2
when'd you go and change the way we get along?
i used to think i hated you,
but i guess that i was wrong

and why'd you go and change the way you laugh?
i had this feeling all along,
and it's this feeling that we share

^bridge^
changes could be for the better,
or it could be for the worse.
at least you know i'm not transparent,
well baby all we need is trust.
i wanna hold you in my arms,
right until the morning comes.
right now, it feels real strange,
well baby why'd you have to change?

ok. a brand, new blog.... again. gawd i have to start dedicating some time actually updating my blogs and keeping track of them...

anyways, let's go over what accomplishments i have managed to achieve in the period of 1 year :
- made new friends
- got past sec 3
- passed malay
- got together with a guy
- wrote many, many songs
- broke up with the guy
- got into the SEAGames team
- discovered friendster, facebook and myspace
- retained the much anticipated team gold at SEAGames
- still having the motivation to train
:D

that's about all. so far. when i think of more, i'll update this entry. which could possibly be... never. hmm... well, SEAGames 2007 is over. we did GREAT! as far as i'm concerned, i contributed to the team. :) ok, so i didn't do as well as everybody expected me to do for my best event - beam, but i helped out at floor. i just realised, that if i stood for beam, meaning to say that i performed as well as i usually do during training session, i just might have gotten something! not gold for sure. but something at the very least. and i also realised, that all i have to do for floor now, is work on my skill level. cos my presentation and what not isn't half bad. (which is a huge thumbs up for my case) but i do realise that i have to work on my other 2 apparatus - meaning to say bars and vault. which is really starting t improve. ok. i shouldn't have used the term "really". what i meant to say is that at least it's getting better in terms of learning new skills. but executing those skills a few months down the road could be a problem.

it's a sunday. and as usual, i woke up REAL late. :) slept at 3 yesterday. i cant help it. anyway, at least i clocked a whole 9 1/2 hours of sleeping. cos seriously, i'm a growing child, and a national athlete. i need my rest.

yesterday, training was from 9.30 till 12! pretty short huh? one in a million chance of that happening again. that's only because yuan lao shi isn't around, and that we had a zoo outing where WAG, both MAG teams, and our coaches were invited. so, naturally, with our coaches being there, we simply HAD to end early. (much to our liking)

anyway, i think this post is long enough. hopefully i can keep up with this blog.
